About Shebop

Magic Shebop a.k.a. Sherry Joy began her career as a singer, model, and actor. Performing in commercials and off Broadway shows and singing in nightclubs and at prestigious private parties. After recording her first children's album, a parody of the classic Snow White, she felt drawn towards working with children full time.

Since 1995 Shebop has been entertaining children of all ages with magic, singing, puppetry, face painting and balloon sculptures. All performed with love, dreams, and wishes.

Shebop performs in children's plays, at corporate events, schools, libraries, and private parties throughout the Tri-State area. She has been involved with many charities, especially her favorite charity "The Marty Lyons Make A Wish Foundation". As well as being an active board member of "Us Against Abuse", lending her talent and services along with co-founder Joey Alcarese.

Her latest project developed with her partner Donna Lee, entitled "The Adventures Of Chochka" is now available on CD and is performed live as a children's mini musical. More information can be found on the Chochka page of this web site.
